| Turnpike Joe Radio Airplay! Once again, Turnpike Joe & The Traffic Jam has been selected by radio station WHPC, 90.3 FM, to be broadcast on Rob Leonard's fantastic "Beatlesongs" show. (The band's version of the Beatles "Birthday" was aired in May, 2002.) The show, aired on Nassau Community College's official radio station, has been running for many years with probably the best Beatles format around. The show runs every Friday night from 8-11pm highlighting the deepest album cuts, quirky out-takes, obscure trivia, songs from out of circulation albums and radio requests. Rob Leonard lends his own style and personality to this informative and entertaining show. Once again he has asked Long Island bands to submit their versions of a song written or performed by a Beatle. Needless to say, with the band's version of McCartney's "High, High, High" just fresh out of the studio, Mr. Leonard has decided to graciously accept our submission for airplay on this special show, to be aired on Friday, April 22nd.
